PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) is a highly flexible waterproofing geomembrane. It is a thermoplastic material manufactured from a mixture of vinyl compounds, plasticizers and stabilizers. PVC has excellent puncture, abrasive, and tear-resistant properties.
Why is PVC such a cost effective product?
- With custom fit prefabricated panels, we can cover the sub grade faster than the contractor can prepare it, protecting your valuable sub grade investment.
- Utilizes wedge welding technologies in the field, producing factory quality welds.
- The overall flexibility of the liner allows it to be deployed in very windy conditions, limiting the risk of the installation.
- Extremely durable, and lays on the ground with a skin tight, beautiful finish. (The liner even smells great, like a new car!)
- Small repairs can be performed by the contractor if the installation crews have completed their work and have de-mobbed.
Installation Notes
- For long term success and protection of the PVC Liner, it requires a cover to be placed over the top.
- PVC liners, even though user friendly, must be professionally installed to insure its complete integrity.

The use of PVC liners prevents contaminants from entering the groundwater and conserves potable water resources by preventing seepage loss. PVC panels can be easily installed by unrolling and unfolding the liner into the pond and seaming the panels using adhesives or wedge welders.
